Orange Barbecue Sauce
This sauce is tangy and quite straightforward to make. It is fat free and will add a bit of zest to any barbecue. It can also be used as a dip.
200ml orange juice
100ml soy sauce
Chilli powder or hot sauce according to taste
1 tablespoon of vinegar
Half a teaspoon of grated ginger
Half a grated onion
Blend all the ingredients together, then transfer the mixture to a saucepan and bring to the boil. Allow it to cool. This recipe is great as a barbecue sauce for spare ribs or as a marinade for chicken and pork.
