I love this barbecue sauce recipe because the orange juice makes it really sweet and tangy.
0ne chopped onion
1-2 cloves of garlic, crushed
4 tablespoons soy sauce
3 tablespoons white wine vinegar
4 tablespoons tomato puree
5 tablespoons orange juice
2 tablespooons golden syrup or molasses
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon mustard
Place all the ingredients into a food processor, and blend until smooth. Pour the blended mixture into a saucepan and simmer gently for about 15 minutes or until the sauce has thickened. Leave to cool.
You can also use this sauce as a dipping sauce for chicken goujons etc.
